"The Haunting Refrain"
A ghostly woman haunts our house
In life she played the organ well,
I do not know this woman's name,
She visits any time of year,
-Edward Allen
But only in the music room
I've heard it said she took her life
When she was jilted by her groom
Now she returns to play again
If you listen close, you'll hear her song:
A dirge of sorrow, love, and pain
And never have I seen her face,
For when I walk into the room,
She vanishes without a trace!
On sunny days or when it rains,
She takes her place upon the bench
And plays her haunting, sad refrain...
